Military Battery Project a Huge Success

The next generation battery technology company, OXIS Energy Ltd has delivered the second phase of a research programme that it’s working on in collaboration with Lincad Ltd to improve its Lithium Sulfur batteries. The project is part of a wider Dstl (Defence Science and Technology Laboratory) research programme which is looking to develop significantly lighter and safer batteries for UK armed forces.

Soldiers lose weight

UK MoD looks to OXIS Energy and LINCAD
for lighter, safer batteries.

Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) has awarded a contract to OXIS Energy Ltd and LINCAD Ltd to develop rechargeable Polymer Lithium Sulfur batteries for UK forces that are significantly lighter and safer than the conventional Lithium Ion batteries that are in service today.

Natureo Finance secures GBP 15 million deal for OXIS Energy

The corporate finance advisory boutique, Natureo Finance, has announced that it has successfully secured an investment of GBP 15 million (USD 24 million) from the South African strategic investor Sasol New Energy for the British based company OXIS Energy Ltd.
